Manley C. Shaw, 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Rainey Hospice House. Born October 9, 1937, in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of the late Henry T. Shaw and Cora Lee Williams Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force retiring after 27 years as a Master Sergeant. Following his military retirement, he enjoyed a career in the manufacturing industry and has been the pastor of Bible Deliverance Church since 1980. He was an enthusiast of vintage cars and enjoyed eating breakfast at Grace's. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Betty Mosely Shaw; daughter, Cora Sabrina Crenshaw-Duncan (Allen); sons, Clayton Kalani Shaw and Brian Manley Shaw (Tonya); brother, Troy Shaw; and grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Zackary, Carmen, and Christy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph Edward Shaw, Wade Harrison Shaw, Henry T. Shaw, Jr., Raymond Leroy Shaw, Kenneth McLeod Shaw, Lester Calvin Shaw, Royal Freeman Shaw, Aaron Columbus Shaw, Sarah Ella Shaw, and an infant sibling. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Carolyn Brown officiating.
