The McDougald Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2211 North Main Street Anderson, South Carolina 29621 864-224-4343 OBITUARY: MARCELLA WILSON MAY 22, 1938 - JUNE 10, 2012 ANDERSON, SC - Marcella Carroll Wilson, age 74, wife of Victor Michael "Mickey" Wilson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late Walter Carroll and the late Eugenia Lovern Carroll. She was a graduate of Girls High and in 1973 she graduated from Anderson School of Practical Nursing at Anderson Memorial Hospital. She also graduated from Tri County Technical College with an associate degree in nursing. She worked for 30 years as a nurse at the Anderson Memorial Hospital. She was a tiny lady with a huge heart for God, family and friends. Fondly known by family and friends as "Red". Marcella was a member of Concord Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Julie Wilson, son Eddie Wilson and his wife Tammy, grandchildren; Amber Wilson, Michael and Grey Moore, Courtney and Kyle Wilson, and Nicole Sizemore and her husband, Zack; great grand-children; Chase Vance, Daylen Harbin, Kaydence Moore, and Hayden Deas, brother; Jerry Carroll and his wife, Roseanne. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Andrew "Andy" Wilson. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with the Reverend Bob Marcaurelle and Reverend David Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank everyone at the Hospice House, National Health Care, and AnMed Health Medical Center for all the kindness and care shown to Marcella's family.
