ANDERSON, SC'Mrs. Margaret Ann Shaw Allen, age 55, wife of the Reverend Charles L. Allen of 204 Westwind Harbour Drive, Anderson, SC went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, November 20, 2005 after a two year courageous battle with cancer.Born in Anderson, SC on March 19, 1950, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late Hubert Ervin Shaw and the late Ophelia Smith Shaw. Margaret was a hairdresser for over 35 years in the Anderson area. The Allen's are members of the First Baptist Church of Fountain Inn, SC and currently active in the fellowship of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Easley, where her husband serves as the Minister of Music. Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Reverend Charles L. Allen of the home; one sister, Sylvene Dyar of Anderson, SC; a nephew, Reverend James E. Dyar and his wife Teresa of Pickens, SC and their children, Hannah, Jared, and Bethany Dyar; and special aunts, Louise Looney and Vivian Smith both of Anderson, SC.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Browning; an uncle, Joe Shaw; and aunt, Selma Campbell.Mrs. Allen's beauty shop customers and coworkers will serve as honorary escort.The family is at the residence.
