ARNOLD April 14, 1922 - November 1, 2009ANDERSON, SCMargaret Hunt Hopkins Arnold, age 87, of 101 Palancar Court, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Pelzer, SC on April 14, 1922, Mrs. Arnold was a daughter of the late Arthur McElroy Hunt and Mary Louise Nickols Hunt. She was a 1939 Valedictorian graduate of Pelzer High School and was a secretary with Pelzer Mill/Kendall Company. She was a former resident of Simpsonville where she was a member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church.Survivors include her grandsons, David Hopkins of Spartanburg and Scott Hopkins and his wife, Sandy and a great-granddaughter, McKenzie Hopkins all of Anderson and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth G. Hopkins of Easley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, John Earl Hopkins; her second husband, James A. Arnold, Jr.; son, Charles A. Hopkins and sister, Alice Joan Smith.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Bo Mackey.
