Margaret Catherine David Dean of Anderson passed away on her 91st birthday, Monday, January 21, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Julian Miles and Maude Mitchell David. She was also preceded in death by brother, Julian Miles David, Jr.; sister, Ruth Scoggins and son-in-law, Jerry Tate. She was a faithful and longtime member of Homeland Park Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Doris Dean Tate and Sharon Dean Brown (Wilton); sisters, Cornelia Entrekin and Linda Shaw; grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Casey), Rebecca Brown and Derrick Brown. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at Homeland Park Baptist Church with Rev. James Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the granddaughter's home, Jennifer and Casey Rogers.
