OBITUARYMARGARET L. LUPERJune 18, 1931- September 21, 2007SYLACAUGA, ALMargaret June Lewis Luper, age 76, formerly of 313 Rhodehaven Drive, Anderson, SC, wife of the late J.D. Luper, died Friday, September 21, 2007 at the Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, AL.Born in Talladega, AL, on June 18, 1931, Mrs. Luper was a daughter of the late Allie Carlton Lewis and Leta Cast Lewis. She was a graduate of Girl's High School and she was retired from the Wamsutta Mill. Mrs. Luper was a member of Andersonville Baptist Church where she was a former member of the Senior Sunday School Class, Saints Alive Senior Club and the church choir.Survivors include, Keith Luper and his wife Connie, Michael Luper and his wife Diane, Joyce L. Creamer and her husband, Douglas, Virginia Penton and husband, Erskine and other cousins and friends also survive.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Olin E. Payne, two brothers and one sister.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, officiated by the Reverend Bruce Evans.
