SMITHFebruary 21, 1924 - October 18, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Margaret Moss Smith, age 82, of 932 Old Green Pond Rd., wife of the late Noah Hubert Smith, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the AnMed Medical Health Center.Born in Anderson SC, on February 21, 1924, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late Luther Moss and Bertie Bell Conwell Moss. She was retired from Wellington Mills after forty-five years of service and was a member of South Side Baptist church.Survivors include daughters, Linda 'Dale' Porter and Marcia S. Smith, both of Anderson; sisters, Delree Barrett, Clara Mae Gentry and Annie Lee Chappell, all of Anderson; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother J.W. 'Pete' Moss and a grandson, Dwayne Turner.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Phillip McAlister.
