Born in Amarillo, TX, on December 29, 1951, she was a daughter of Billye Jo Grady Austin and the late George Edward Austin. She was a 1969 graduate of Maryville High School and was a member of the American Institute of Banking. Mrs. Wallace was employed by Belk Department Store and was Catholic. She was attending Forest Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William Sidney Wallace; mother, Billye Jo Austin of Anderson; siblings: Wilford Thomas Austin of Anderson, Michael Jerome Austin of Anderson, Elizabeth Jane Moorhead of Orlando, FL, and Sandra Diane Gallargher and husband, Patrick of Orlando, FL; nephews: George Gallargher, Joshua David Gallargher, Joseph Austin, Grady Austin, Bryce Austin, and Noah Austin. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Tom Owen. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service.
