SandersApril 2, 1922 - March 9, 2008 Margie Bethi Allen Sanders, 85, of 119 Dawn Drive, Belton, widow of James David Sanders, died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Jessie James Allen and Ira Arveta Cox Allen. Mrs. Sanders retired from the Singer Company and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are four sons, Jerry Thomas Sanders of Westmont, IL, James Lincoln Sanders, and his wife, Rebecca and William David Sanders, all of Anderson, and Dale Randall Sanders and his wife Allison of Rutherfordton, NC; two daughters, Debbie Lynn Gianoli and her husband Michael of Wisconsin, and Maria Montez Refosco and her husband Emil of Pickens; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 4:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by the Reverends J. Floyd Stansell, Jr., and Jared James. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of a son, James Sanders, 128 Olivarri Drive, Anderson.
