MARGIE THOMPSON September 28, 1923 - October 19, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Margie Lee McKinney Thompson, age 85, of 3142 Old Williamston Road, wife of the late Claude Harrison Thompson, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson County, SC on September 28, 1923, Mrs. Thompson was a daughter of the late Clifford Hillary McKinney and Reedie Lee Queen McKinney. She was retired from textiles and a member of Midway Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her sons, Harrison Thompson of Omaha, NB and David Eugene Thompson; daughter, Mary Fleming; sisters, Dorothy Acker and Elizabeth Woodson, all of Anderson; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Clifford Hillary McKinney, and a sister, Evelyn Brown.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dr. James M. Rice.
