Maria Vazquez Maria Teresa Colon Vazquez, age 47, of Anderson, passed away on August 4, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, on July 5, 1967, she was the daughter of Paula Vazquez Navarro, of Puerto Rico and the late Jorge Colon. She was of the Catholic Faith. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Antonio Medina Garcia, of Puerto Rico. The Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Ms. Vazquez will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will gather for a time of visitation following the service.
