Marian Catherine Harper, 64, loving wife of Frank Harper, Sr., passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. Born in Newark, NJ, Marian was a daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Saxe Doyle. Marian was formerly employed with AT&T before moving to Anderson, SC in 1987. She then began working at DHEC and retired with over 10 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she also volunteered with St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School. In addition to her devoted husband Frank Harper, Sr., Marian is survived by her children, Frank Harper, Jr. and his wife Nicole, and Jackie Mosley and her husband Trevor; and four grandchildren, Frankie, Ethan, Annabelle, and Mac. In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Harper; one brother; and two sisters. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. following visitation in the church with Father Philip Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
