Howard 'Doc' Egger of 403 Long Forest Circle, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at her residence.Born in Ashtabula, Ohio on November 14, 1922, Mrs. Egger was a daughter of the late Hugh Edward Kane and Maude Hawes Kane. She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Anderson, SC. She was an avid bridge player, wonderful hostess and a former hospital volunteer. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband, A. Howard 'Doc' Egger of the home; a daughter, Kathleen Egger-Price of Anderson, SC; a sister, Shirley McDaniels of Pittsburgh, PA and a host of nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alta Jean Templeton and Virginia Knowles.A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Central Presbyterian Church officiated by Dr. David J. Bailey. The family will be at the residence.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 1404 N.
