Marie Holland "Mac" Gray, age 92, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Born in Forest City, NC, on June 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Otis C. Holland and the late Mamie Childs Holland. She retired from People's Bank of Iva as Assistant Vice President after 37 years of service. She was a member of REVIVA and of First Baptist Church of Iva, where she sang in the Savior's Singing Seniors, the former Senior Adult Choir and Willing Workers Sunday School class. She is survived by her nephews, Alfred D. "Chuck" Foster and his wife Hazel, Michael Foster and his wife Yvonne, and Charles D. "Butch" Foster and his wife Sharon; a niece, Patricia " Patsy" Taylor and her husband Donald; 9 great nieces and nephews, 21 great-great nieces and nephews and special friends, Jerry and Sherry League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Gray; and two sisters, Eria Reid, and Emma Foster. The Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Iva on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Jerry Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Iva City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Iva prior to the service from Noon until 1:30 pm.
