She was a homemaker and was a member of Homeland Park Church of God. Mrs. McGinnis is survived by her daughters Betty Ray Davis, Sara Aycock, and Ann Starnes all of Anderson, SC; a brother Billy Gentry of Anderson, SC and 24 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, and a number of great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her first husband William C. Whitfield and second husband Lester McGinnis; sons Robert Whitfield, Edward Whitfield, J.C. Whitfield, a daughter Hazel Franks and brothers Archie and Floyd Gentry.The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am with Rev. Billy Gilliard officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
