Marin Joseph Moreno, age 58, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Alpha Health and Rehab of Greer. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Marin Steven Moreno and the late Ollie LaVonne Jenkins Moreno. He was a very talented artist and helped with the beautification project of downtown Anderson. Marin was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Marie Yeldell Moreno; his children, Cynthia Moreno and her husband Harry Ray, of Cincinnati, OH, Candace Moreno, Cicely Moreno, of Gary, IN, Michael Yeldell and his wife Genevieve, of Baltimore, MD, and David Tillman, of Anderson, SC; brothers, Christopher, Michael, and Raphael Moreno; and sisters, Gloria Moreno, Lyncetea Gibbons, Victoria Moreno, and Cecilia Moreno; and 12 grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Mr. Leo Marsden officiating.
