Marion Siachos Crawford, of Anderson, SC, succumbed to Alzheimer's Dementia on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Charlotte, NC. Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late James and Maria Siachos of Trikala, Greece, and Greenville, SC, in 1940. Marion worked as a mother to raise her sons, later joining Stauffer Chemical Company in Quality Control and Westinghouse in Human Resources before owning Marett's Flowers by Marion in Anderson, SC. She enjoyed tennis, golf, horses, was an avid swimmer, lettered in basketball at Greenville High and loved her many pets. She was a member of the Junior Assembly, known now as the Junior League of Anderson, lifelong member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Greenville, SC, and was also the Co-Chairperson of the Anderson County District of the US Pony Club in years past. She is survived by her two sons, George Parasho of Charlotte, NC, and Jim Parasho of Anderson, SC; and siblings, Callie Castrinos and Ted Siachos, both of Greenville, SC, Georgia Case of Easley, SC, and Vicky Koppel of Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at Grace Episcopal Church with Rev. Fr. Tom Pistolis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
