MARION WILSON September 23, 1920 - January 1, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Marion Cisiro Wilson, Jr., age 85, of 401 Harris Avenue, Belton, SC, formerly of 740 Travis Road, Anderson, SC and husband of the late Beulah Haguewood Wilson, died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at Brookside Living Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Oconee County, GA on September 23, 1920, Mr. Wilson was a son of the late Marion Cisiro Wilson, Sr., and Bessie Miller Wilson. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. He served in the United States Navy as a gunner on a Liberty Ship and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple in Starr.He is survived by a brother, Jewel Wilson of North Augusta, SC; three grandchildren, Doug Wilson, Becky Porter and Andy Taylor and three great-grandchildren, Joel Owens, Taylor Allen and Savannah Porter.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lathan Lee Wilson; two daughters, Brenda Merle 'Button' Wilson and Marian Wilson Taylor; four brothers, Herbert Wilson, Joe Wilson, Travis Wilson and Arthur Wilson and four sisters, Lily Wilson Bannister, Irene Wilson Ford, Hortense Wilson Lewis and Doris Wilson Driver.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Kirt Mitchell and the Reverend Sam Duncan.
