Marjorie R. Spivey was born on February 12, 1931, and after 91 years on this earth, she took her last breath and is now walking the streets of gold. Margie passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Marjorie R. Spivey was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Born and raised in Hopewell, VA, she was the daughter of Cush and Grace Robinson. In 1945, she met the love of her life, Paul B. Spivey Jr., they were married 52 years, until his death in 2002. If you knew Margie, you know she loved her family! She devoted her life to taking care of her husband, children, granddaughter, great grandchildren, and a few furry pets. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister, Jean Robertson. She is survived by her loving son, Paul Spivey III; her beloved daughter, Sharon Splawn (Wayne); her only grandchild/"favorite person", Michelle Cromer (Carl); her triplet great grandchildren that she was the most proud of, Brady Cromer (Taylor), Austin Cromer (Maddie), and Grace Cromer; her sister Shirley Coleman; brother in law, Billy Robertson; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Remembrance II Chapel with Rev. Austin Cromer officiating. The family will greet guests immediately following the service. The family will be at the home of Carl and Michelle Cromer, 208 Dandelion Trail, Anderson, SC 29621.
