Mark was a 1987 graduate of Belton Honea Path High School and was a graduate of Greenville Technical College. He was the owner of Color Fast Screen Printing in Williamston. He was an avid Clemson fan and was a member of the Anderson YMCA. Mark had served on the Williamston Spring Water Festival Committee and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Honea Path.Survivors include his wife, Melanie Gambrell Pitts, of the home; his parents, Jimmy & Joyce Pitts of Honea Path, SC; Melanie's parents, Larry O. & Letha Webb Gambrell of Belton, SC; and extended family members: Reed & Angie Friddle of Honea Path, SC, and their children: Collins Friddle and wife, Becca Friddle, of Lynchburg, VA, and Kate Friddle of Honea Path, SC; Andy & Valerie McKee and their children: Allen & Emily McKee, all of Anderson, SC; Jimmy & JoAnne Stancil of Seneca, SC; Billy & Ruth Pitts of Stone Mountain, GA; and David & Barbara Black of Honea Path, SC. He was predeceased by his grandparents: the Reverend E.T. & Lodemia McLane, and Ross & Mary Pitts.A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm on Thursday, June 23, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend T. Dale Lynch.
