Marlane Green Sanders, age 66, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born December 12, 1951, in Iva, SC, Marlane was a daughter to the late Major Green and the late Ethelene Dunn Green. She is survived by her son, Barry Simmons; daughter, Lisa Bryant; brothers, Ronald Green of Atlanta, GA and Robert "Bobby" Green of Anderson, SC; her sister, Sharon Nicometo of Anderson, SC, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Marlane is predeceased by her sister, Diane Carson and her grandmother, Ora Dunn. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from Noon until 1:30pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm with the Reverend Michael Green officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family request memorials be made to P.A.W.S.
