Carol Marlene Reynolds Hodgetts, age 82, of Belton, SC, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 30, 1939, in Cambridge, OH, she was the daughter of the late James E. Reynolds and Betty Jane Juiles Reynolds. She was married to Thomas R. Hodgetts until his death in 2020. Marlene was a cafeteria attendant at Belton Middle School for 20 years until her retirement. She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Griffin (Timothy) of Pinehurst, NC, and Linda Hodgetts of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Adam Lollis (Jessica), Meghan Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Dylan Bishop, and William Bishop; five great grandchildren; brother, Gary Reynolds (Annette) of Grove City, OH; and sister, Margaret Dickerson of Enid, MS. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
