Mrs. Marsha Ann Boggs, age 69, of Central, peacefully joined the Lord, Tuesday, April 12, 2021 at Cottingham House. She was born July 3, 1951, in Lumberton, NC, a daughter of the late Wallace and Elizabeth Brown Green. Marsha grew up in Six Mile, SC and graduated from DW Daniel High School in 1969. She received her nursing degree from Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerald and Wayne Green, and her sister, Phyllis Craddock. For many years, Marsha worked at Baptist Medical Center Easley as a registered nurse. It suited her servant heart. She was kind and always strived to do what was right, good, and caring, going beyond the call for her patients. She was a member of Davis Creek Baptist Church, in Seneca, and served the Lord as a missionary nurse to China and Romania. She enjoyed needle point, sewing, the Clemson Tigers, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marsha is survived by her loving husband, Johnny and three daughters, Christina Holtzclaw, Allison DeGennaro, and Darla Henry; six grandchildren, Carter DeGennaro, Brent DeGennaro, Madison Holtzclaw, Averey DeGennaro, Connor Holtzclaw, and Kaelin DeGennaro; her brothers and sisters, Joyce Willimon, Judy Smith, Charles Green, Keith Green, Mary Stewart, and Susan Swift. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Memory Gardens, in Clemson, SC with Rev. Alan Adams officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials are optional or memorial contributions may be made to Davis Creek Baptist Church.
