Marsha Angela Findley Chapman, age 64, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at AnMed Medical Center. 

Born May 27, 1962, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Fred Findley and Grace Ree Shaw Findley. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Lamar and Estelle Findley and Columbus and Rosa Lee Shaw. 

All who knew Angie knew she was the "Boss"! She loved shopping on QVC, Garth Brooks, cooking, and hosting parties. She also loved the Christmas season and decorating her home both inside and out. She even put up as many as 130 trees for the holiday! Together with her husband, she volunteered at the Anderson Rescue Squad and earned her EMT license. Angie was devoted to her family and she took great joy in spoiling her granddaughter, Olivia. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple. 

She is survived by her husband, Dennis William Chapman; daughter, Melissa Hope Balch (Stephen) of Anderson, SC; sisters, Sherry Rose Wood of Liberty, SC, Linda Gail Gunter (Bobby) of Anderson, SC, and Tammy Renee Ifversen of Anderson, SC; and granddaughter, Olivia Grace Balch. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Temple with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E Calhoun St, Anderson, SC 29621.
