Marsha Diane Hillhouse, 76, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to the late Col. Ronald T. Hillhouse, passed away, Sunday, January 17, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born April 11, 1944, in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hyman Kolberg and the late Nettie Carfora Kolberg. Marsha was the co-owner of Green T. Services, Inc. for over 30 years. She loved to travel and was an avid reader. Marsha was a devoted and dedicated mother and grandmother who will be truly missed. She is survived by her children, Joseph T. Hillhouse (Mary Beth) of Anderson, SC, Teresa L. Whaley (Michael) of Anderson, SC, and Janet D. Clippard (Robert) of Greenville, SC; sister, Arlene Reiss of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren, Kyle (deceased), Taylor and Jackson Whaley, Alex and Katie Hillhouse, and Lucas and Mallie Clippard; and niece, Catherine Luplow (Chris), along with their children, Isabella, Kieran, and Liliana. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Ronald, she was predeceased by her infant daughters, Susan, and Barbara Hillhouse. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3:00 pm at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Austin Carty officiating. Social distancing will be observed and the family requests masks to be worn. The family will be at their respective homes.
