Olin Marshall Burton, age 81, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his home with family by his side. Born October 9, 1941, in Anderson, he was the son of the late Arthur Leo Burton and Nannie Campbell Burton. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Edith Rogers. Marshall was a graduate of Boys High and was a faithful employee of Southern Bell, retiring after 31 years of service to the company. He was a devoted family man whose love for his family was immeasurable, going above and beyond to provide for their every need. He was a member of NewSpring Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Patsy Sosby Burton; son, Robert Burton (Hattie); grandchildren, Sara Reeder (Leslie) and Susie Burton; and great grandchildren, Chri Reeder and Ezra Reeder. A private family service will be held at a later date.
