Marshall Lee Evans, age 74, of Starr, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

Born May 10, 1950, in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late J.M. "Jim" Evans and Reba Burgess Evans.

Marshall was a car enthusiast who loved old vintage cars, cruise-ins, and car shows. He considered his friends his family and one of his favorite things was his "friends lunch" tradition that he had every Friday for many years. He was retired from Frigidaire/Electrolux. Marshall was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was of the Baptist faith and always spoke of his personal walk with the Lord.

He is survived by his chosen family, Manuel and Hilda Prince, Jared and Ashley Richey, Sherry and Diddle Lollis, Brandon and Janessa Callaham, Mallie and Grady Callaham, Tommy and Lois Smith.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will speak with guests immediately following the service graveside.
