Young of 803 Good Hope Church Road, Starr, SC, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson County, SC on November 1, 1941, Mr. Young was a son of the late James D. Young and Lois H. Brown Young. He was the Owner of Young's Plumbing and Electric Company. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and the Men's Sunday School Class.Survivors include his wife, Diane H. Young of the home; sons, Brad Young of Iva, SC and Barron Young of Starr, SC; a daughter, Brooke Young Powell of Starr, SC; a brother, Kenneth R. Young of Starr, SC; a sister, Linda Young Pierce of Anderson, SC and six grandchildren, Nicole Young of Starr, SC, Chelsie Bellew of Iva, SC, Jolee Young of Starr, SC, Brittan Young of Starr, SC, Brandon Young of Starr, SC and Charlie Young of Iva, SC.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Brenton Young; a brother, James R. Young and a sister, Shelby Young Southerland. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Good Hope Baptist Church officiated by the Reverends Robbie Garrett, Jerry Gray and Curtis Bundy.
