MARTHA ATTAWAY May 30, 1929 - November 17, 2005 ANDERSON, SCMrs. Martha Plexico Attaway, age 76, of Cardinal Park in Anderson, SC and wife of the late John David Attaway, Jr., died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Barnwell, SC on May 30, 1929, Mrs. Attaway was a daughter of the late Lloyd Hagood Plexico and Leilia Cook Plexico. She was a graduate of Medical University of South Carolina and retired as a Registered Nurse from the Anderson Memorial Hospital.She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Anderson.Survivors include sons, Rev. John David Attaway, III of State Road, NC and Lloyd Hagood Attaway of Greer, SC; special friends, Junior and Jean Pickard of Anderson and William 'Bud' and Dorothy Wilson of Williamston, SC. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive her.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Attaway and a sister, Kitty Fickling.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Grace Episcopal Church by The Reverend John B. Hardaway, IV. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, November 20 2005 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.Flowers are optional.
