Martha Ann Martin Campbell-Lowe, age 89, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2024, at the Garden House.

Born January 19, 1935, in Belton, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Aaron Martin and Hazel McKee Martin. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Roscoe Campbell, and her second husband, Jack T. Lowe.

She worked for the Hosiery Mill in Belton, SC and as a bank teller, but she was well-known as an exceptional seamstress. She and her late husband, William, owned William and Martha's on the square in Belton, SC. Martha enjoyed gardening, particularly her flowers, and was an excellent cook. She loved her family dearly and was known for her compassion and generosity, especially to those struggling.

She is survived by a son, Mark Anthony Campbell (Bonnie) of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Carla D. Newton (Stanley C.) of Fogelsville, PA; brothers, Wayne Martin of Belton, SC and Joe Martin (Carol) of Iva, SC; a sister, Gayle Martin Merritt of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren, Matthew Campbell, Jennifer Campbell, Victoria Newton, Jonathan Newton (Chelsea), and Caleb Newton (Haley); eight great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 26, 2024, from 12:00 pm – 1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stanley C. Newton officiating.
