She had worked as a bookkeeper for many years for several firms in Anderson. She enjoyed life in many different ways including shopping, and traveling to the mountains. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and the Seekers Sunday School class.Survivors include her husband of the home; daughter, Sherri Biermann and her husband, Bob; sister, Mary Ryals and her husband, James; two granddaughters; Stephanie McWhorter and her husband, Chris, Kristin Collins and her husband, Steve and grandson, Mathew Spearman; four great-grandchildren, Alex and Luke McWhorter, Hagen and Kaden Collins.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Tony Smith and Rev. Bob Biermann. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O.
