MARTHA HANKS August 7, 1938 - January 30, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Martha Ann Waldrup Hanks, age 67 of 1809 Middleton Road, Anderson, SC and wife of the late Joe Allen Hanks, died Monday, January 30, 2006 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on August 7, 1938, Mrs. Hanks was a daughter of the late Elbert Lamar Waldrup and Ruth Ann Cox Waldrup. She was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas and also a member of the Retired Ladies Group of Owens Corning. She was a member of Middleton Road Baptist Church.She is survived by a son, Jerry Alton Hanks and his wife, Lesia of Anderson, SC; daughters, Cindy Wilson and her husband, Joey and Sharon Wilson and her husband, Dane, all of Anderson, SC; a brother, Thomas Waldrup of Woodruff, SC; sisters, Clarice Griffin of Kentucky, Elaine Gilbert of Anderson, SC, Nancy Arnold of Piedmont, SC, Carolyn Kelley of Townville, SC, Gloria Walls of Anderson, SC, Edna Bratcher of Honea Path, SC and Diane Waldrup of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold 'Snook' Waldrup and Elbert Waldrup.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Archie Sharpe and the Rev. Dr. Tony Smith.
