Obituary
Martha Hoag Hiebel, age 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born August 30, 1934, in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Roland B. Hoag and Dorothy Summers Hoag. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joseph James Hiebel.
Martha was formerly a dietician with Cook County Hospital. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Hiebel; daughter, Martha Ruth Winterbottom; brothers, Roland B. Hoag, Jr. and Peter Hoag; sisters, Dorothy Hoag White and Susan Gordon; and 5 grandchildren.
