She was a member of Iva First Wesleyan Church.Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Vincent Horace Maxwell; son, Ken Maxwell of Iva; daughters, Vickie Eaton and her husband, Pete, Gail Barrett and her husband, John, all of Iva and Debbie Hardy and her husband, Doyle of Starr; sister, Anne Simpson of Iva; twelve grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Geraldine Duckett and a grandson, Dusty Maxwell.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Iva First Wesleyan Church officiated by the Reverend Dan Fortney. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.Mrs. Maxwell will be taken to her residence at 10:00 am on Friday where the family will receive friends. Flowers are optional.
