Martha Kurowsky Pace, 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was married to the late Joseph "Joe" Henry Pace for 64 years until his death August 2, 2020. Born June 7, 1936, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Kurowsky and Martha Byerly Kurowsky. Martha was a member of Shady Grove Baptist and was a CNA with Interim Health Care. She had a very loving and caring personality and took great joy in spreading kindness to others. Her kindness was also shared with nature. She loved gardening and spent hours feeding and watching her birds. She was in constant battle with the pesky raccoons who kept stealing bird food. She loved her family and will be missed. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Wilson of Greenville, SC, and Tracy Stephens of Easley, SC; grandchildren, Megan Leonard (Joshua), and Tiffany Stephens; great-grandchildren, Bryson Wanek and Jason Leonard; nephew raised in the home, Tim Sebik (Deanna) of Anderson, SC, and children, Brandon, Matthew and Austin Sebik; and sisters, Doris Skibicki of OH, Linda Hatcher of PA and Susan Foreman of AZ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Joseph Pace; grandson, Michael David Stephens, Jr.; and sister Judy Sebik. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 2 - 3 pm at the McDougald Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials made by made in honor of Martha to Divine Hospice, 115 Whitehall Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.
