Martha Lloyd Plummer, age 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, at her home. Born October 26, 1937, in Darlington County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Thomas Lloyd and Martha Jane Windham Lloyd. She was married for 61 years to Curtis W. Plummer until his death in 2015. Following high school, Martha graduated from Palmer College. She and her husband moved to Anderson in 1984 and opened Anderson Welding Supply Company which they operated together until their retirement in 2002. She was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she served the Lord in many ways and with all of her heart. She loved her family deeply and set a wonderful Christian example to all she met. To her family, she was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son Jeffrey A. Plummer (Amy) of Easley, SC; daughter, Cordie P. Pappas of Anderson, SC; daughter-in-law, Julie Plummer of Anderson; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Glenn W. Plummer; and brother, Joseph Thomas Plummer, Jr. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 4, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews, NC. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Roy Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of Trinity United Methodist Church, 1809 N.
