Mary Frances Eberhart Allen, age 86, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born September 22, 1939, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Roy Eberhart and Hester Lee Dixon Eberhart. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Ann Osborne.

Mary Frances was a graduate of Girls High and Forrest College and retired from the various industries as a secretary. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and loved her Lord and Savior. Throughout her life, she served as a Sunday School teacher and organist at various churches. She was currently a member of Dorchester Baptist Church. Mary Frances was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved and took care of her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles E. Allen; son, Rev. C. Michael Allen and his wife Brenda; grandchildren, Terri Ann Smith, Carmen Marie Wagner and her husband Adam, and C. Matthew "Leroy" Allen.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Dorchester Baptist Church with her son Rev. C. Michael Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.
