Greenville Street, Anderson, SC, formerly of Abbeville, SC, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at NHC HealthCare in Anderson, SC.Born in McCormick County, SC on August 6, 1916, Mrs. Baughman was a daughter of the late Thomas DeWitt Simpson and Mamie Ella S. Simpson. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School and retired from Abbeville County School District 60. She was a member of Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church in Abbeville, SC.Survivors include her son, Jimmy Baughman and his wife, Pat of Lawrenceville, GA; daughters, Patricia Strickland and her husband, Jimmy of Anderson, SC and Annette Fulmer and her husband, Bill of Anderson, SC; a sister, Doris Giles of Abbeville, SC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, J. B. Baughman, Jr.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Webster Curry. Interment will follow in Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 18, 2006 from Noon until 2:00 pm.The family will be at the home of a granddaughter, Cynthia Adams, 407 Moultrie Square, Anderson, SC.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Upstate Chapter, 521 N.
