Mary Cornelia Westmoreland Bibb, 83 of Anderson, SC passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at NHC of Anderson. She was widowed by her late husband Raymond Thomas Bibb who passed away in December of 2001. Born April 29, 1934 in Seneca, SC; she was a daughter of the late William L. Westmoreland and the late Lois M. Sheriff Westmoreland. Cornelia graduated as valedictorian from Oakway High School. Mrs. Bibb is survived by a son, Bruce Dean Bibb of Anderson; daughter, Diane Bibb Addis (Oscar) of Townville, SC; brothers, Williams C. Westmoreland of Seneca, SC and Larry Westmoreland of Westminister, SC; sisters, Edna Louise (Bobby) Collins of Westminister, SC, Lenora Ovaline (Troy) Crooks of Starr, SC and Helen Elaine McKern of Seneca, SC; grandson, Paul (McKindra) Bibb of Seneca, SC and great-grandchild, Connor Bibb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thomas Bibb and her brothers, James Harold, Joe Roy and Deryl Frank Westmoreland. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday in the Chapel with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
