Mary F. Blakely, age 75, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her residence. Born in Pendleton, SC on March 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Fred Inmon Earle and the late Sarah Lou Hunnicutt Earle. She retired from LaFrance Industries after 20 years of service and was self-employed cleaning houses. She was also the former owner of Ronnie's Caf. Mary was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church in Starr, SC. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Blakely; daughters, Gwen Seymore (Mike), of Anderson, SC, Sharon Mapes (Gene), of Townville, SC, and her step-son and family who she greatly loved, David Blakely (Lakay), of Pickens, SC; two brothers, Charles Earle, of Anderson, SC, and Carl Earle, of Elberton, GA; a sister, Christine Carver, of Anderson, SC; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Blakely and a grandson, Brad Alewine. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Lawson and Reverend Mike Harrell officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
