Mary Harriet Dunn, age 74, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, on June 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Henry Brooks and the late Thethel Hayes Brooks. She was a graduate of McDuffie High School. She was a member of Freedom Center, in Homeland Park. She is survived by her loving husband, James E. Dunn; two daughters, Carol Loyd and her husband Dwain, of Anderson, SC and Melissa Dunn, of Anderson; two grandchildren, Jessica Looney and Meredith Looney; and a sister-in-law, Helen Brooks, of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Clyde Brooks. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Center with Reverends Phillip Sears, Jeremy Sears and Brad Bien-Aime officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
