Mary Louise Toney Farmer, age 77, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Piedmont Post Acute.

Born October 1, 1948, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Toney and Amber Lee Goodwin Toney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Perry Farmer; daughter, Laura Anne Farmer; grandson, Jameson Sanders; brothers, Jerry Toney (Edith) and Thomas Toney (Brenda); and sisters, Virginia Jean Hill (Jay), Shirley Beasley (JB), Dorothy Wardlaw (Ray), and Maddie Lou Capps (Gene).

Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend. She loved flowers, her animals, and reading. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. More than anything, she loved her family and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Keith Toney and his wife, Renee; special daughter, Samantha Bowen (Roger); 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 12:30-1:15 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Wayne Adams officiating. Mrs. Farmer's final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
