She was the former Superior Clerk of Court for Seattle, Washington and was a member of Rocky River Worship Center.She is survived by sons, Shaine and Eric Fischer of Anderson; brother, Donnie Nixon of Anderson and her four special Chihuahuas.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Hammond and brothers, Charles 'Buddy' Nixon and Billy Nixon.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 4:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by the Reverend Bobby Smith. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.Flowers are optional.
