Mary Gillespie Wilson Anderson, SC Mary Gillespie Wilson, age 82, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Central, SC on March 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Sallie Hilley Gillespie. She retired from Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital, achieving the award for outstanding employee of the year in 1995. She was a member of West Anderson Church of God. She is survived by her children, Mike Wilson and his wife Jan, of Athens, GA, Chris Wilson and his wife Teresa, of Anderson, SC, and Michelle Knox and her husband Shawn, of Honea Path, SC; and eight grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William D. Wilson, Jr.; three brothers and one sister. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home prior to the service on Monday, from 11:00 a/m until 12:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
