MARY HARRINGTON July 19, 1913 - December 27, 2012 IVA, SC Mary Brewster Harrington, age 99, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Exalted Health and Rehab in Iva, SC. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Brewster and the late Birdie Simpson Brewster. She retired from Starr Elementary School after working in the cafeteria for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Annie Ruth Moore; one granddaughter, Pam Wilson; five great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and six great-great-great grandchildren. Mary is the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Harrington; a son, Douglas Harrington; and two grandchildren, Sammy and Debbie Moore. The family will receive frinds in the fellowhip hall of Poplar Spring Baptist Church from 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM on Sunday, December 30, with the Graveside service beginning at 4:30 PM in the church cemetery.
