MARY ANN HOOPS July 15, 1936 - February 5, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Mary Ann Hoops, age 76, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Hoops, Sr. and the late Margaret Crawford Hoops. She worked for many years as a caregiver, she was also a pianist and a loving mother. She was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Leonard Vickery Jr. (Linda) of Anderson, Michael Vickery (Cheryl) of Williamston, David Vickery (Cathey) of Williamston and Patty Stewart of Starr; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Henry Hoops Jr. and a sister, Jimmie Carson. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 3:30 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Wendell Bannister and Reverend Jerry Parnell officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
