MARY MC GAHA December 29, 1913 - April 20, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mary Grace McGaha, age 93, of Anderson, wife of the late Phillip Samuel McGaha, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at Brookside Living Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Saluda, NC on December 29, 1913, Mrs. McGaha was the daughter of the late Leonard Henderson and Anna Fisher Henderson. She was a resident of Brevard, NC until moving to Anderson in 1986. Mrs. McGaha was formerly a cosmetologist and homemaker. While living in Anderson she was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church.Mrs. McGaha is survived by her son, Dr. L. Edward McGaha and his wife, Eleanor of Anderson, SC; a daughter-in-law, Judith Kincaid McGaha of Twin Falls, ID; five grandchildren: Kurt McGaha and his wife, Regina McGaha of Buffalo, NY; Kris McGaha and her husband, Evan Schletter of Los Angeles, CA; Dr. Carol Loescher and her husband, Dr. Walter Loescher of Cameroon, Africa; Marie McGaha Dunlap and her husband, Dr. Bill Dunlap of Anderson, SC; and Angela McGaha Darby and her husband, Dr. William Darby of Greenwood, SC. Fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death earlier this year by a son, the late Colonel Phillip Norris McGaha, PhD. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Dr. Johnny F. McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 22, 2007 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday at 3:00 pm at Dunn's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Brevard, NC with Dr. Keith Parker officiating.
