Mary Lynn Jones McCullough, age 84, passed away on Sunday, May, 21, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Griffin, GA on January 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Felix M. and Ruth Moore Jones. Mary was kindly known as "Bubba" and was the owner of Bubba's Nutty Fruit Cakes. She was the first charter member of Middleton Road Baptist Church and attended the Faith Sunday School Class. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane M. Hendrickson and her husband Dan, of Roswell, GA; son, "Buster" McCullough, Jr. and his wife Renee', of Elberton, GA; a sister, Ann Jones Autry; brothers, Ernest Jones, Donald Jones and his wife Betty, and Bud Jones and his wife Jean; six grandchildren, Brandon McCullough and his wife Lori, Hannah M. Thompson and her husband Barry, Clint McCullough, Katrina Hendrickson, Jessie McCullough and Natalie Hendrickson; three great-grandchildren; 15 nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Judy Brooks, Rhonda Bryant and Helen Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lane Watson McCullough, Sr.; and an infant son, Leonard Jones McCullough. The funeral service will be held at Middleton Road Baptist Church on Friday, May 26, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. with the Reverend Dale Cross officiating. The family will be at the residence, and will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Flowers are optional, or memorials may be made to Middleton Road Baptist Church, 1705 Middleton Rd., Anderson, SC 29624.
