MARY MARJORIE MILES STARR, SC Mary Marjorie Miles, 61 of 124 Peninsula Point, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at her residence. Born in Pasadena, TX on April 30, 1953, Ms. Miles was the daughter of the late Chilton Earl Miles, Jr., and Marion Glen Smith Miles. She was retired from the United States Post Office in Webster, TX and owned the Sunset Lounge in San Leon, TX. Mary was of the Episcopal Faith. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling. Survivors include her brother, Chilton Earl Miles, III of Beaumont, TX and sister - in-law, Connie Miles, of Shreveport, LA; sister, Sally Miles Brewer and brother-in-law, Robert Brewer of Starr, SC; nieces and nephews, Melanie Miles, Billie Brewer, Charles Brewer, Ronald Brewer and Travis Miles; and her devoted and faithful friends in both Texas and South Carolina, as well as her canine companion, Lucy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, T. W. (Buddy) Rogers and sister, Martha Glen Miles. The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens officiated by the Reverend Dwight Greene.
