MARY MYERSFebruary 25, 1940-February 27, 2009OBITUARY W/PHOTOANDERSON, SCMary Frances Burdette Myers, age 69, of 312 I Street, wife of Edward Myers, Sr., went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 27, 2009 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Bessie Whitfield Burdette. She had worked at JP Stevens and Toxaway Mill. Mrs. Myers attended Life Tabernacle.Survivors include her husband of the home, Edward Myers, Sr.; son, Edward 'Eddie' Myers, Jr. and his wife Lori; daughters, Janice Stephens and her husband Thomas, Sharon Bagwell, Joyce Butler and her husband Ray, Amanda Davis and her husband Craig, all of Anderson; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Messer and Clara Seawright; two brothers, Rayford and Johnny Burdette.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Manuel Burdette and a sister, Annie Grace Burdette.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Ray Butler and Timothy Burdette.
